Army Volleyball Hands Colgate 3-0 Loss

Sophomore Jamie Clark registered 13 kills and added eight blocks to lead the Army volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep (30-28, 30-27, 30-28) over Colgate Saturday night. Army improves its record to 17-6 overall and 7-2 in the Patriot League, while Colgate slips to 12-11 overall and 4-5 in the conference.

Sophomore Briana Stremick tallied a match-high 18 kills on 29 attempts with just two hitting errors for a .552 hitting percentage. Sophomore Elizabeth Lazzari tallied a "double-double" with 11 kills and 14 digs. Senior Danielle Cooper recorded six kills and chipped in 12 digs, while sophomore Rachael Breinling posted seven kills and four blocks.

Freshman Maureen Bannon dished out 44 assists to go along with nine digs, while senior Eileen Cassidy made a team-high 20 digs.

The Black Knights return to action Friday evening, Oct. 27, when they host American at 7 p.m. at Gillis Field House.
