The UPS Store opens on Broadway

(Newburgh) - Just in time for the busy holiday shipping season, Mayor Nicholas Valentine, City officials, and Daniel O’Brien, Orange County Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Membership Development & Services cut the ribbon, officially opening The UPS Store at 610 Broadway. The new store is located in the Carpet Giant Plaza, behind Finest Interiors.

Said Will Cappelletti, owner of The UPS Store “Newburgh is on the rise and going through a renaissance. We want to take part in it and help the local community thrive.”

Manager Mike Stern added, “As a one-stop shop for shipping, postal and business services, we look forward to serving the Newburgh community.”

In addition to domestic and international shipping, The UPS Store offers digital printing, black-and-white and color duplications, document finishing, notary, printing services, full-service packaging, freight crating and shipping, mailbox and postal services, office and packaging supplies and more. Wireless Internet access is available onsite, and the store also serves as an AuctionDrop drop-off site for eBay selling as well as packaging and shipping.

“We are very excited to welcome new businesses to Newburgh, especially to the Broadway corridor,” said Mayor Valentine. “The Cappelletti family has invested in the City of Newburgh for many years, and we are pleased to have another generation opening a business here.”

Mayor Valentine also noted that this will be one in a series of ribbon cuttings, that the city will continue to do. “The revitalization is well underway on the waterfront. We can see it happening there. Now we need to work on other areas, like the west end,” Valentine said.
