The Marist Women's Cross Country Team ran to a seventh place finish at the Albany Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Junior Sarah Domermuth (Voorheesville, N.Y.) was the first Marist runner to finish, as she crossed the finish line in 21st place in a time of 18:57.1.
Domermuth was followed by Kerri Mannino (Amityville, N.Y.) in 37th place in 19:18.9 and Christine Wahl (Lancaster, N.Y.) in 39th position with a time of 19:21.4. Rounding out the scoring for the Red Foxes were Caitlin Garrity (Watertown, Conn.) in 40th place with a time of 19:25.4 and Lindsay Rappleyea (Gloversville, N.Y.) in 58th place, showing a time of 20:19.4.
Marist will be back in action on October 27 when it competes in the 2006 MAAC Championships held at Van Cortlandt Park.
