A Letter From the President

(Poughkeepsie) - Diana Mendez, now a sixth grader in Shereen Cader’s class at Smith Humanities Magnet School, recently received a letter from President George W. Bush dated September 29, 2006. The President’s letter was written in reply to one that she wrote to him last summer posing questions about environmental issues.

Diana was happy to share the information contained in the President’s letter with her classmates. In his response, the President included two Web addresses to visit to learn more about environmental issues:
