Villa Boragaese To Celebrate Milestone of 80th Birthday

(Wappingers Falls) - Friends and family gathered recently at the Villa Borgaese to celebrate the milestone of Dorothy Hughes 80th birthday.
Hughes, originally from Virginia, moved to Beacon, New York at a very early age. She says she is blessed to have such a warm and loving family, consisting in part, of her five sons and one daughter.
She is a very active member of the community in which she lives. A devoted Christian, Hughes is a member of the Star of Bethlehem Church in Beacon, where Rev. Mills is the pastor, and she serves as President of the Usher Board.
After working as a Quality Control Inspector for a number of years, Hughes is now retired and enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild Donavan.
