Three Local Women Recieve Seat Of Honor

On September 14, 2004, Girls Scouts of Dutchess County, Inc. will honor three extraordinary women in the Dutchess County community at the 2006 Seat of Honor Award Dinner. We are proud to announce the following distinguished women who will be our honored guests: Susie Balutis (Dutchess County Department of Probation), Betsy Brockway (Dutchess County Health & Human Services Cabinet), Michelle Taylor, ClearChannel Radio of the Hudson Valley.

These women have given their time, talent and commitment to many community organizations throughout Dutchess County and understand the idea of giving back to their community. Our honorees exemplify the importance and values of positive role models for girls and young women. They have served our community and help us underscore our mission of helping girls to build the character, courage and confidence they need to make the world a better place. Today’s Girl Scout members need women such as our honorees to admire and help shape them into the leaders of tomorrow.

Join the Girl Scouts for a great evening as we honor these outstanding role models at The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. Tickets are still available. For tickets, sponsorship opportunities or to purchase a journal ad, call 845-452-1810 extension 32, or e--mail tmulkins@girlscoutsdc.org .
