Fishkill Annual Block Party

(Fishkill) - The Village of Fishkill held their annual block party on Saturday, August 12, 2006. The Village Police Department closed off Main Street from Bedford Street to Route 9.
The event was enjoyed by children of all ages. There were inflatable rides for the children as well as vendors for food, clothing and jewlery. Many of the local business set up outdoor markets.
The centerpiece of the event was Van Wyck Hall, the Village Hall. There was a DJ set up in front of Van Wyck Hall to provide the music for the event.
