
Visit the banks of the Hudson River on Saturday, August 19 at 10 a.m., Kowawese Unique Area, Route 9W, New Windsor, where the Museum of the Hudson Highlands will answer the question: Hudson River Inhabitants: What Animals Call the Hudson River Home? Explore along the Hudson in search of signs, tracks and traces. What makes the Hudson such a critical and unique habitat in this area? Come meet some of the animals that depend on this important habitat for survival. The Museum of the Hudson Highlands Saturday Nature Programs are a series of interactive educational programs about the science, natural history and environment of the Hudson Highlands. An educator from the Museum will begin with a discussion and move on to a participatory activity. Learn and have fun at the same time!
Nature of the Hudson Saturday Programs meet at 10 a.m. at the picnic area near the parking lot, Kowawese Unique Area, Route 9W, New Windsor.
